the season is long over and training has resume..
this coming friday 11/8/2006, there will be training in sch at 2.30pm.. all players please be at the basketball court by 2pm.. muslim guys, please return from prayers asap but remember to have ur lunch before u guys come for training.. non- muslims, u have no excuses to be late.. ur cooperation is well appreciated.. thanks!!

its been long since somebody actualli came here to post a comment.. 17 more daes and we are off for our first game.. training is gonna be intensive soon and its gonna be hardwork and commitment, hardwork and commitment.. non-stop dedication to the team..
perhaps, its the time of the yr and ppl get too tense up and everyone is being too stressed.. the sad part of the team is tht it seems to be falling apart.. everything is nt going where we want it to go.. the hardwork, dedication for the team during the yr end holidae and this pt of time is completely different..
why do we train hard?? as a sport athelete, the biggest achievement is winning something for ourselves.. we as hockey players don't just play becoz we love the sport.. yes.. we do love the sport, but we play to win as well.. who doesn't want to win??
its tough having to commit oneself just for the team.. giving the amt of time we have.. studies, gf(s), any other reasons.. we have just 24 hours a dae.. nt 42 hours so its realli difficult.. there are times whereby u go for trainings but then in ur mind, it saes, "bloody hot weather.. can stay home sleep, why gt training??" there are other excuses also.. nobody is blaming nobody.. as a team, we blame ourselves as a team.. individual efforts are nt enough..
fadhli, i knw life hasn't been particularly gd for u as a capt.. so mani problems.. team politics, simple trainings etc etc.. every single session, w/o fail, u will face difficulties by miss watee.. just take last fridae's incident as an example.. hmm.. tht was my fault but u gt scolded.. the reason why u gt scolded is becoz u are the capt.. being a capt is nt easy.. u have alot of responsiblities.. but then again, u are given the authority to scold ppl to ensure tht things get done fast and neat.. i do admit tht sometimes i don't take ur words seriously.. when u ask me nicely, i joke ard and take my own sweet time to do.. but when u start shouting, everyone will go do the stuff tht u wanted us to do.. doesn't this sae smth?? tht u must be firm in giving instructions.. nobody will blame u.. maybe ppl will show u black faces but they won't blame u.. simply becoz u are the capt.. some ppl are dying to become capt.. reason being then they will have the power.. nw, u are given the power, why nt make use of it?? if it takes scoldings to get things going, then u have no choice but to scold..
wht team MI lack is the discipline.. perhaps its becoz of the environment we are in.. we are in a "slower pace" society in MI compared to top JCs like RJ.. the mentality is totalli different.. the wae they get things done and they wae we get things done is different.. they are discipline while we are nt.. nobody's at fault.. its just tht we have to see things from a different approach and carry task out differently..
these are wht i feel..
as a player in the team, i just wish to sae this again.. every player is equally impt to the team.. no one is better off than the other.. we play a game with 11 players and nt 1 player.. take the advise or leave it, u guys decide for urself..

Hi guys,
We have juz got 1 mth before our 'A' Div, April 17 guys, so its coming, and we have been training hard, but we need to brush up abit more in our skills and all... we juz got one month to do it, and there is no turning back guys, we can do it, i noe we can, but it is a team effort which means each and everyone of us are involved to bring the championship in our hands, although we are meeting giants like RJC, one thing, its doesn't matter, coz they do not know who we are yet rite guys, and don't be disheartened by the match we played yesterday, we learnt frm mistakes and are improving after that. We just need to play our game and listen well to wat coach has got to say, remember tat time he said the 1st half is very impt, so guys remember, we can do it, we juz got 1 mth more to prepare ourselves for the big day, some of us, it is our final A div, so let make this a very very good and happy one yea, with the championship in our hands, four years ago, our seniors did it, now its our turn, so before we shift to our new campus, lets bring a throphy along to the new campus yea, believe in each and everyone of us, we can do it, "there can be mircales, we can achieve" tat's all i have got to say and all the best guys! its in our hands!

guys.. haven been updating for long.. well.. guess we all know that A div is merely less than a month to go.. and i dun wan only after our 1st match den we will wake up.. consistency is the word this year.. been a yr of fun and bad times.. we played during holidays wif so much enthu... and now it's time to let ppl see wad we got.. we cannot disappoint anyone else.. we can't blame attendance now.. we can't blame the commitment.. we juz have to work hard.. be it wadever is pulling us down.. we gotta work on our other strengths instead of letting our weakness pull us down... so pls guys.. look on the bright side.. and i know we all can achieve something this year.. play good hockey guys.. =)

Hi guys,
I see that this blog has really really extinct ah, no one seems to be posting or writing anything abt it ah. I'm back again to tell u'll some things, to the whole team, whether you'll interested or not, whether you'll seek it or not, its all up to u guys.
As u'll noe, tournament is coming soon.... And here we are having attendance problems... guys, i'm telling u'll straight at ur faces, if i was in charge, and the team attendance is like this, i would not send a team for the tournament. No matter who playing or wat, i won't send, hockey needs at least 16 ppl, 11 playing and 5 reserves, but look at our beautiful attendance, only 8 ppl coming, that is not even a team guys... This reflects your commitment to the team, i want to train everyday wif all of u'll actually, but i can't.... and u'll noe y. Guys, u'll are the one who said u'll wanted the championship and all, so u tink like this can get there. 4 years ago, our seniors did it, u tink we can do it this time, its all in ur hands. If ur heart is not here, then simply tell the team that u are not interested to play, dun give all the lame excuses and all. Already i heard the Sirhan is quitting, so who is nxt, any takers. Go guys, by all means, those who wish to join him, pls go, coz its no point having players not having their hearts in the team and nt coming for trg but want the championship. Even if we are short of players, even if we do not have players to fit tat particular position, we will somehw do it wifout u yea, all positions, there goes for the keeper too. Those who decide to stay, u jolly well come for training and not complain this and tat, u better commit urselves guys, its the final lap.
Guys, can i suggest to u'll one thing, its very simply, everyday after sch, juz take a hockey stick and ball and hit ard beside the tennis court (the small court). hit, sweep, push, stop,dribble, in that court, i strongly believe that if u'll at least spend 30-45mins a day, doing that, u'll can improve, am juz asking for tat guys, all of u'll, tat is, those who decide to stay of coz. Juz 30-45 mins, not that tiring either, juz practice these basics, and trust me, it will work, we can go somewhere. Dun forget ur fitness trg of coz... tats impt too. I knw it will be tiring and all, some of coz will hav tones of workload, and hectic and all... I truly understand, but pls juz these one month plus... do these things that i tell u'll to do, and we will be able to smell the championship, trust me on tat. I believe u'll can do it, u'll will do it, and if u'll want, u'll can do these trainings together or single handedly, those who have still difficulties in these basics, its time for u'll to improve and learn the correct method, ask those who know exactly how to do well in such skills, i'm sure they will help u and themselves as well, tis is our team guys, so we can do it rite! Hope to see u'll training after sch everyday frm nw.... or will this post juz be a post, and it goes in one side of the ear, and leaves the other, i'll juz wait and see... I know we are all busy, got work, gf, family, some say LIFE, but juz this one month plus, give this time to the team, tats all we are asking, hope u'll follow it. I really duno wat else to say guys, and wat i've said may have bored u alr, so i'm finally ending off here, all the best guys!

i think i better type smth here before this blog realli goes into extinction of posts.. i just want to comment on 2 things.. commitments and team attendance.. guys, whoever who is reading this, u have to be committed if u want to do smth well.. don't just do it for the sake of doing.. then it defeats the purpose and it brings u nowhere!! team attendance is another crucial part.. how would a team take part with onli like 8 regulars?? think please.. is it fair to the 8 players who are training so hard all the time and the rest just laze ard and don't go for training?? priveen.. don't get offended if u are reading this.. when i asked u are u going for training, u actualli had the cheek to ask "am i given a choice??" for the team's sake, u have to go training.. u are the onli keeper if u didn't knw tht.. u told ppl tht u will turn up.. in the end where were u?? missing!! team attendance is all abt commitments and team attendance shows ur commitment towards playing for MI.. think abt it for those who doesn't go for trainings.. eLsOn
